From above

1. When you watch a place from above
2. It looks very different from what it really is
3. The ocean seems to be flat and void
4. Without any waves or islands
5. The planes also look vast and undifferentiated
6. The mountains are covered with clouds
7. You can’t see any people or their cities
8. You can’t discern a living being, plant or animal
9. Then you decide to leave the clouds and descend
10. As you approach the ground you see more details
11. The motionless ocean becomes a rough sea
12. You can see a ship struggling in the waves
13. You reach the coast and approach a city
14. You pass through a dense forest with tall trees
15. You can hear the wind gasping among the leaves
16. You reach the city with its buzzing streets
17. You see people rushing among the vehicles
18. You reach a house and you get in
19. You find there an old man watching the TV
20. From far away the old man looks like a small child
21. You look into a mirror and you see that old man
22. You consider the implications of the passing time
23. From far above there is no fear or pain
24. Except from the chilly air and the dizziness of heights
25. But now that you have finally decided to come back
26. You find something thick and heavy lying deep inside.
