The Universe

1.      It fits well the model of loneliness

2.      So many places we’ll never occupy

3.      No matter where we turn our telescopes

4.      So many mysteries lie beyond expectation

5.      But it can match the scale of our dreams

6.      At a peculiar night when we have a party

7.      With some strange guests riding on comets

8.      Just having fun playing with our ignorance

9.      Filling up our emptiness with a little pleasure

10.  Forgiving everything by erasing our memories

11.  The universe exists without any evidence

12.  It had been here before our own emergence

13.  It can persist without anyone alive

14.  It can exist with none of us to observe it

15.  But if we forget about it the wonder will be lost.
