Skin deep

1.      How much enmity we show for the inferior

2.      Such extreme jealousy for the rich and famous

3.      But would we like to be either of them?

4.      Or would we rather be unique and genuine persons?

5.      There are so many ignorant and pretentious people

6.      Who are unable to express deep and sincere emotions

7.      Or to realize thoughts beyond common imagination

8.      Hanging around whistling like superfluous balloons

9.      Are we all like bubbles with some superficial senses?

10.  With a visual cortex and a tympanic membrane

11.  With sensory cells in the tongue and in the nostrils

12.  With the forces acting upon us at the point of contact

13.  Are we like worms with so many tiny nerve endings?

14.  Is there an extra-sensory receptor in the brain?

15.  Does perception lie on a two-dimensional surface?

16.  Will we find another sense if we shade the skin?
