Beauty and the Beast

1.      Beneath our skin there is a monster

2.      Despite the brain or the muscles

3.      Irrespectively of what we think or feel

4.      Always having an idea about ourselves

5.      An outside view to which we are accustomed

6.      Considering fair complexion or blue eyes

7.      Beyond pretentious moves or good manners

8.      We can smell the sweat we leave behind

9.      We see the animals fighting for survival

10.  The courtship and guises of attraction

11.  We can take a look at the universe

12.  Monster black holes devouring matter

13.  Galaxies colliding with each other

14.  And we ask ourselves about the wonder

15.  Is this kind of beauty we desire?

16.  Does the monster look familiar to us?
