Expression of a dream

1. At the time of awakening
2. Or just before we go to sleep
3. When day and night mix in the sunset
4. And half a couple meets its other half
5. For a moment we are floating in dreams
6. But we are also being dragged by reality
7. We can hardly recall a majestic situation
8. Having still that feeling all over our body
9. Trying to remember the context of the dream
10. But the more we try the more the impression fades away
11. As reality gradually establishes its familiar images
12. Splitting apart the couple of ideal lovers
13. Irreversibly separating our actions from our wishes
14. But as we go on with our ordinary lives
15. Having forgotten last night’s extraordinary journey
16. We run into people and places which seem familiar
17. People and places we think we’ve seen before
18. Is this last night’s forgotten landscape?
19. Is each next day we live an alternate expression?
20. And everything we know another version of a recurring dream?
