Empty bubble

1. Do birds sing in order to find a mate?

2. Why people sing and what they shout about?

3. Is there any reason why the Earth spins around?

4. How about the noise of the waves passing by?

5. The struggle of eternal perpetuation…

6. But is it possible that birds sing just for the fun of it?

7. That animals do things to impress their partner so that they mate is a long held argument.

8. It presupposes that life is all about sex- the predominant instinct of survival.

9. Complementary however to the instinct of life is the instinct of death.

10. In fact these two instincts are so closely related to each other that they can be easily interchanged.

11. Isn’t after all the struggle of our life a battle against death?

12. Can the argument about the attraction of the opposites be expanded into the cosmic scale?

13. Isn’t the cosmic dance performed so that the universe can perpetuate itself?

14. Doesn’t the light oscillate so that it can keep on propagating?

15. Couldn’t a lonely person sing and dance on a remote beach without any purpose?

16. Is there any deeper reason why I am writing down these words?

17. Or is it just a mechanical response against empty space hiding some great expectation?
