Desire

1.      From the mist of a distant valley

2.      There is a mountain top emerging

3.      And a playful torrent is descending

4.      How deep can  the water of our joy go?

5.      How far can we follow the flow of our thought?

6.      Is there a finite set of words to express emotions?

7.      Can we describe emptiness with no words at all?

8.      Is there an end to the desire?

9.      When we have reached the limits of our body

10.  And the primordial woman is coming to embrace us

11.  Is she the conscience and mother of us all?

12.  Or just another ghost of imagination?

13.  As we go up a stream of great expectation

14.  As we throw our hopes into a wishing well

15.  The words of what we love and hate are echoing.
